The next edition of the ultramarathon organized in Masuria will take place on August 10-11. Ultramazury is an event offering long-distance races of 100, 70, 30, and 10 km. The races are held in the beautiful, natural scenery of Warmia and Masuria, in the town of Stare Jabłonki. The route leads through some of Masuria's most beautiful regions, around lakes and through forests.
Running 100 km is quite a challenge. After such a distance, the body is exhausted, and every runner knows how important proper hydration is during long-distance running. Runners need to hydrate not only with water but also with isotonic drinks, which replenish mineral losses caused by exhaustion.
