Jackfruit and Black Bean Quesadilla
This snack will surprise both meat-eaters and non-meat-eaters. This jackfruit quesadilla seasoned with chili con carne tastes delicious and perfectly imitates the flavor of meat.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 pack Casa de Mexico wheat wraps
- 1 can Green Jackfruit Pulled QF Quality Food
- 2 tsp Chili Con Carne Spices Casa de Mexico
- 1 can Black beans Casa de Mexico
- 2 tsp House of Asia Garlic Pastes or 2 tablespoons chopped garlic cloves
- 200 g tomato sauce
- 1 onion, cut into slices
- 200 g grated Gouda cheese
- 5 tablespoons of oil
A METHOD OF PREPARING
- Place the jackfruit in a strainer and rinse under running water, then squeeze well. Place the beans in a strainer and rinse well.
- Heat the wraps in a dry pan for about 15 seconds on each side.
- Pour oil into a pan, sauté the onion with garlic paste, add the jackfruit, and cook until golden brown. Then add the beans and tomato sauce, and simmer for another 10 minutes. Finally, add the chili con carne seasoning and mix everything together.
- Spread the cheese, filling, and cheese evenly over the wraps, then top with the second wrap. Fry the quesadillas in a pan on both sides until the cheese melts, or bake in an oven preheated to 200°C (400°F) for 10 minutes.
