  • 2 cans green jackfruit drained and rinsed
  • 1 spoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 red onion, diced
  • 400 g sliced mushrooms
  • 3 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
  • 120 ml dry white wine
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme
  • Pinch of salt
  • 500 ml vegetable broth
  • 1 teaspoon of potato starch
  • 250 ml of thick cream

A METHOD OF PREPARING

  1. Heat the butter in a pot and sauté the onion until translucent. Add the garlic and mushrooms. Cook for 10 minutes.
  2. Add the wine and simmer for 5 minutes, or until the sauce has reduced slightly. Add the jackfruit, thyme, and salt.
