Ribs in teriyaki sauce
Christmas with an Asian twist? This is a perfect and delicious way to spice up your holiday menu, sure to please even the most traditionalists. Thanks to the aromatic marinade and thick glaze, the meat is juicy and literally melts in your mouth! This recipe was created in collaboration with Edyta Dyduch.
INGREDIENTS
- 30 gr mun mushrooms
- 250 gr Chow Mein noodles
- 2 tablespoons white sesame
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 700 g pork ribs
- 1 carrot, cut into sticks
- 1 red onion, cut into strips
- 3 tablespoons finely chopped chives
Marinade:
- 4 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon nanami chili paste
- 1 teaspoon ginger paste
- 1 teaspoon lime juice
- 2 spoons of honey
Frosting:
- 2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
- 1 spoon chili paste
- 2 spoons of honey
A METHOD OF PREPARING
- In a bowl, combine all the marinade ingredients, then add the meat and rub it in thoroughly. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- In a bowl, mix all the glaze ingredients.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C. Place the marinated meat and marinade in an ovenproof dish, cover with aluminum foil, and bake for 2 hours. After that time, remove the foil and baste the meat with the glaze three times, every 15 minutes.
- Prepare the pasta and mun mushrooms according to the instructions on the package.
- Heat oil in a wok and sauté the carrots, onion, and mushrooms. Add the pasta and the sauce from the roasting process. Mix thoroughly.
- Place the pasta and a piece of rib on a plate. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chives.
