INGREDIENTS

  • 200 gr Premium tahini paste
  • 60 g butter or 3 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 6 tablespoons of sugar
  • 4 tablespoons of ground almonds and a handful of whole almonds

A METHOD OF PREPARING

  1. Place the butter in a bowl and melt it with the sugar in a water bath.
  2. Open the tahini paste and pour off the oil that has naturally separated in the jar into a container. Add the paste and ground almonds to the butter and pour the oil back into the jar.
  3. Mix everything thoroughly and transfer the prepared mass to a baking tin (14×14 cm) lined with baking paper.
  4. Toast the remaining whole almonds in a dry pan, then chop them and add them to the mixture. Refrigerate for at least an hour to set.
  5. Serve the halva chilled and store in the refrigerator.
