Salmon in Teriyaki Sauce
INGREDIENTS
- 100 ml Yamasa Teriyaki Sauce
- 2 tsp White Sesame House of Asia
- 500 g salmon fillet (skinless)
- 2 – 3 tablespoons of green onions, finely chopped
- a small amount of oil for frying
A METHOD OF PREPARING
- Divide the salmon fillet into portions, place in a bowl, and pour the teriyaki sauce over it. Let it sit for 15-20 minutes, turning the fish every few minutes to marinate evenly.
- Heat a pan with a little oil, add the salmon and fry for 3-4 minutes on one side, then turn and fry for another 2 minutes.
- Pour the remaining marinade into the pan and fry briefly until the sauce thickens and coats the fish.
- Sprinkle the cooked salmon with sesame seeds and green onions and serve immediately.
TIP:
To get perfectly shiny glaze, remove the salmon from the heat when the sauce begins to thicken - teriyaki caramelizes quickly in the pan and it's easy to reduce it too much.
