A METHOD OF PREPARING

  1. Pound the pork gently with a meat mallet and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Crack the eggs into a bowl and mix thoroughly. Transfer the panko to a second bowl. Coat the cutlets first in the egg, then in the panko, repeating this step twice.
  3. Pour the tonkatsu sauce into a bowl and mix thoroughly. If necessary, you can dilute it slightly with boiled water.
  4. Pour oil into a hot pan and fry the breaded Katsu cutlets until golden brown. Transfer the fried meat to a paper towel. Serve with the sauce.
